I am working at a company from 9 to 5.
I got a part time job for the same profile. I can devote 2 hours per day. Can I legally do that?
There are two points to know prior to replying:- 1. Whether your employment is like an Advocate, where 9 to 5 job is not permitted. 2. Whether any Appointment order and agreement was there which prevented another employment. ====== You search part time of Tuition, Stitching etc to avoid this conflict.
Dear Sir, You cannot do it legally. However you can hide it and do the job after your office work timings.
Dear client, Before u do so, we would suggest you to Check your employment contract, company policies and if the employment contract entered by you along with the company and company policies allows you to do double employment you can do so.
If the employment contract doesn’t allow you for double employment and you still do so then you will be liable for breach of contract under sec 73 of the Indian contract act. Hope this answers your query, Thank you
